This route climbs a good deal. It starts in forest with some peat bogs. Gradually the forest gets thinner, until you get above the tree line. Early on you skirt round Stakaklompen (335 metres above sea level), before continuing towards Geitfjelltoppen (872 metres). Over the course of your journey the ground varies between being dry paths, bogs, rocky patches and finally bare mountain.
